The Cowards Revolution.

Throughout human history, we’ve had one definition for courage, for bravery… a person who stuck to their principles and damn the torpedoes.

We would not think very highly of Joan of Arc if she’d tried to blame mental illness as the flames began licking her skirts. Nobody would remember Bruno if he’d recanted in the same situation, as the fire approached. How would we view Galileo if he’d apologized instead of spending many years in a Church Prison cell?

We can even see this play out among the very worst of humanity. During the Nuremberg Trials after World War II, every single Nazi tried to shift the blame. They renounced Hitler and Nazism, they claimed to be “just following orders”, they blamed Hitler for “brainwashing them”… all of them, hypocrites, liars and most of all… COWARDS.

Except one. Herman Goering never recanted, never denounced his Fuehrer. He never made excuses, he OWNED what he’d done. Now, one could easily argue that it might not have been bravery so much as the fact that he was dosed to the gills on Demerol; but regardless, he had to be at least somewhat aware of where he was headed, no matter how stoned he was. And he had to know too, that he could perhaps have gotten less punishment simply by joining his friends and denouncing that madman. But not Goering… he owned it.

And even worse for him, he was never a true anti-Semite in the first place. He married a Jewish or half Jewish woman. He is rumored to have help many thousands of Jews escape Germany. Goering didn’t hate Jews, he was just riding the wave to gain power. He was going with the Zeitgeist.

So why did he not denounce Hitler. He was hung and as far as we can tell, his ashes ended up on a trash heap in Dachau. But he was brave, you have to give the guy that… braver than the sniveling coward he refused to denounce. Hitler took the coward’s way out and put a bullet in his own brain rather than face the consequences.

And that brings us up to date. The January 6th “insurrectionists”. Where do find them on the courage/cowardice scale?

Pretty easy to see that one eh? “It was ‘antifa’, not Trump supporters” or perhaps “The FBI was pulling a false flag” or even “they were peaceful tourists”

But no, I’m sorry, that bullshit just doesn’t wash when you also say “Ashley Babbit was a patriotic hero”. Or when you stage a second “rally” complaining that the people jailed for their part in the first riot are “innocent political prisoners being unfairly persecuted”…

Nope, sorry baby. If Babbit was a “hero” then you just OWNED that riot. You just OWNED every single violent act. If your compatriots are “victims of political persecution” then you are admitting this was all you. YOU OWN THIS.

So, either be courageous, be brave and patriotic and embrace the blame, or STFU, you fucking hypocrites, liars and COWARDS.
